Air quality transmitters

Air quality (VOC) transmitters are used for air quality measurement in offices, hotels, meeting rooms and convention centres, apartments, stores, restaurants, etc. It measures more than 20 different gases (cigarette smoke, body perspiration, exhaled breathing air, solvent vapours, emissions from building members and cleaning agents). Room air quality is understood as subjective air quality, felt by human beings with their olfactory organs. Our air quality (VOC) transmitters' warm-up time is approximately one hour. Self-calibration VOC sensors are used in our air quality transmitters. Room and duct versions are available.

Room air quality transmitter

Room air quality transmitters are developed to measure air quality in rooms, apartments, hotels, etc. The self-calibrating microprocessor-controlled room air quality transmitter is used to determine the air quality on basis of a mixed gas sensor. There is a possibility to choose between three sensibility ranges by DIP switches, comparable to three measuring ranges: LOW – MEDIUM – HIGH. The sensor’s service life is dependent on the type of load and gas concentration and is more than 60 months under normal load conditions. This sensor output could directly control the EC fan. When more fresh air is needed then the sensor will increase EC fan speed. The enclosure is made from ABS plastic and could be mounted on the wall or wall flush box.

Features

  • Power supply 24 VAC / VDC ± 10 %
  • Output 0–10 VDC or 4-20 mA (selectable)
  • Measuring accuracy +/- 20% of final value (referred to calibration gas)
  • Relay output potential-free changeover contact (24VAC / VDC) switch point adjustable from 0-100% of output signal.
  • Response time < 60 sec.
  • Protection class IP30

Duct air quality transmitter

Duct air quality transmitters are developed to measure ventilation ducts. The self-calibrating microprocessor-controlled duct air quality transmitter is used to determine the air quality on basis of a mixed gas sensor. Duct air quality (VOC) transmitters enclosure made from plastic, material polyamide 30% glass-globe-reinforced with quick-locking screws.
