Frequency inverters

Frequency inverters

Frequency inverters are designed to control the speed of an induction motor by automatically converting the AC frequency to the required parameters. They continuously control the speed and torque of electric motors. When you use frequency inverters, then it is possible not only to fully automate production processes but also to save up to 50 percent of energy. Depending on the operating conditions, frequency inverters must have appropriate technical characteristics and a suitable protection class. So, in the simplest case, a device with an IP20 degree of protection has a standard housing that reliably protects against moisture and dust. The chemical and mining industries require frequency converters with protection class IP66.
